We visited the Walbash Festival on 9-28-25 as we were there on this Hot weekend. Terry the one that runs the Hotel was so kind to give us a tour of the Hotel it was Awesome and Amazing I recommend a little get away . Hampshire Hotel
Easy to get to, easy parking. ADA accessible. Stayed two nights during the fair. Interesting B&B run by the local historical society and staffed primarily by volunteers. Outstanding service and breakfast both mornings. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

Stayed at the Hampsher Hotel this past weekend, while in Forrest for a very special wedding reception. The Hampsher reminded me of the cool, small hotels to be found all over New Orleans. My wife and I enjoyed sitting on the second floor gallery late in the evening, just listening to the peace and quiet. Michelle was our host, and laid out a fantastic breakfast, sharing the history of the hotel, and how it came to be rehabbed in to its current great shape. Will definitely stay again.
Beautifully restored and maintained hotel run by amazingly accommodating hosts. We had a wonderful night unplugging and relaxing in this charming B&B. Breakfast was great as well. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking to slow down and unwind.
Very quaint, very beautiful excellent restoration. Prices are beyond reasonable. We had the whole place to ourselves. Nicest place I've ever stayed. Breakfast was great. I would stay there again
Wonderful old bed and breakfast with beautiful woodwork and nicely restored without losing its vintage look. Well made meals prepared by a courteous and caring staff. Conveniently located just off Route 24 near a classic railroad set-up and museum. Very nice experience.
